What does the job consist?

Soitec’s addressable markets to triple by mid-term perspective fueled by fast-growing semiconductor demand, higher engineered substrates penetration and product portfolio expansion. Indeed, Soitec's semiconductor materials bring unique value to smartphones, cars and connected devices. In this context of growth, the quality of our products is key for the company and the adoption of the markets.

 

Due to internal mobility, the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) team, under Céline Cailler responsibility, is looking for an experienced Quality System Leader to join them.

 

You will be responsible for the performance and adaptation of the QMS in line with the growth and the international deployment of the Group, which needs to be ISO9001 and IATF 16949 compliant.

 

Aside from daily operational duties, you will drive the entire organization to scale up the Quality Management System by influencing teams around the globe, and collaborating closely with clients, auditors and external partners.


You will be part of strategic quality solutions design and implementation while this will directly impact Soitec Group performance. You will play this role in an environment with stimulating challenges, passionate teams and development opportunities.

 

Key responsibilities will be :

  • Drive the quality global strategy, aligned with the Direction and business process leaders, guaranteeing the integrity and continuous improvement of the QMS at all levels of the organization,
  • Deploy initiatives to reinforce the “Zero defect” culture and ensure the compliance with ISO9001 and IATF 16949,
  • Lead QMS transformation project for the Group, targeting the full alignment with strategic priorities of Soitec, operational needs and best practises of the market,
  • Plan and carry out internal audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the QMS, and propose overall corrective and preventive actions
  • Incluse Soitec subsidiaries making sure of high standards deployment among the Group, federate teams around a common quality approach, considering local specificities when necessary,
  • Be the key point of contact for external stakeholders to demonstrate the effectiveness of the quality system and process control, coordinate and carry out ISO and IATF certification audits for the Group and work on action plans for address non-conformities and improve processes.

Requirements & qualifications

Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent, preferably with a major in microelectronics, materials or chemistry, you will justify at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. You are knowledgeable in regards to the quality management system especially ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

 

You have demonstrated strong capabilities talking about FMEA, control plans, complex problems solving (8D, DMAIC) and audits.

You also have demonstrated strong cross-functional management skills and an ability to build global quality strategies, influencing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

 

You are recognized thanks to developed interpersonal skills, efficient communication, creative and “out of the box” thinking enabling you to propose innovative solutions matching feedback and expectations of various stakeholders.

Methodic, you will be able to lead several initiatives in parallel.

 

Fluent English (oral and written) is required to communicate effectively with our international teams and external partners.
French would be a plus.
