In this innovative environment, we are looking for an Incubator manager to take charge of a new strategic program from A to Z with the cross-functional support of a multidisciplinary project team.
Reporting hierarchically to the Senior EVP Innovation CTO and functionally to the SVP Strategy & Investors Relations, your role as Incubator Manager is to ensure the development of this new technology, define the product roadmap and accelerate the execution until the industrialization phase.
To achieve this, your first objective will be to understand the customer's needs and requirements in order to propose a new range of products and demonstrate the product value.
Therefore, you’ll interface with the "champion customer", in coordination with the customer group.
In this phase, you’ll pay attention to define technological development priorities and Design To Value options. .
This will also require building and managing the product line roadmap, coordinating Mega process and the life cycle of products in order to create a new business entity. You will need to ensure the definition of market size and price adoption.
Then you will enter the accelerator phase and execution of the product roadmap and we will expect you to drive incubator contributors while structuring and anticipating the manufacturing phase and coordinating the supply chain implementation, before finalizing the transfer of business to the division, or lead creation of a new business entity.
Throughout the process, you guarantee a balanced budget of the program and define relevant financial models with the Finance department in a profitable long term business perspective.
You will regularly establish follow-up with the CTO, the Strategic Office SVP as well as with the ExCom members but will be a key interface at many levels and various departments of the organization (innovation department, industrial operations, global supply, finance , …).
You have an technical background with significant experience (minimum 15 years) in semiconductor or equivalent sector which enables you to understand our technology and materials know-how in order to drive the product development and adoption.
You have also a significant experience in managing projects with Asian customers and a sense of adapted communication needed to enable business is these regions.
You have been successful in driving major projects/programs that allow you to understand industrial, supply chain and financial constraints of such a program where we target to grow a product at a very fast pace from innovation phase to a high volume production target.
You are used to working in project mode in a matrix environment and this position, which is very transversal and rich in terms of relationships, requires real qualities of leadership and cross-functional multidisciplinary team management.
You are comfortable and agile with high-level international players on innovative technical subjects and you enjoy reaching out to our customer. You know how to transform a customer request into a lasting partnership where each party will be convinced of the technological and economic interest in traveling together.
