In an industrial environment built on M2M (Machine-to-Machine) communication, testing phases are critical at multiple levels: facilitating development and debugging, securing deliverables, and minimizing testing/validation time on physical equipment within a 24/7 production facility.
To address these constraints, a portion of our testing is currently conducted on a simulator platform. To optimize performance, we aim to continue developing a new generic testing platform to resolve these various challenges.
Within the IT department, you will join the CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) team, which is responsible for developing all automations and applications surrounding our product manufacturing. The primary goal of your apprenticeship is to advance the development of a generic equipment simulator.
Your initial missions will include:
Mastering automation scenarios: Gaining a deep understanding of our industrial workflows.
Functional Analysis: Studying current developments to master the existing simulator’s functionality.
Protocol Learning: Mastering the specific automation/equipment communication language (SECS/GEM).
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in drafting simple technical specifications.
Propose innovative designs for HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
Take charge of implementation and validation using unit testing protocols.
Collaborate within an Agile environment, supported by functional and technical experts who will guide your choices and professional growth.
